We the church acknowledge the dissatisfaction by some residents of our county as a result of the announcements of County Executive Committee and Public Service Board by the Governor.

We appeal for calm as an amicable solution is sought.

“The church further appeals to everyone within the county to maintain peace that has been witnessed before, during and after the last general elections.

The church further appeals to the government to prioritise the issue of security in Western Kenya , Trans-Nzoia, Mandera and the Coast.

We also appeal to the members of parliament to consider the institutions put in place in the new constitutional dispensation and first serve the citizens that elected into office before demanding for pay rises.

As we also acknowledge the sovereignty of the Almighty , we the Nakuru Christian leaders have planned for a prayers and thanks-giving prayer service on 25th and 26th May 2013 at 12:30 to 6.00 pm daily.

We also want to ask the civil society to work and confine themselves within the law and avoid situations that would work negatively on human dignity.

God Bless Nakuru

God Bless Kenya.
